Emmanuelle Arpin is a PhD Candidate in Health Services Research (Health Economics) at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME) at the University of Toronto. Her SSHRC-funded dissertation examines the long-term effects of chronic health conditions in childhood on health and socioeconomic status in young adulthood in the US and Canada. She has additional research and teaching experience in the areas of the health policy in Canada and Quebec, public health policies and the social determiants of health. She holds an MSc in Sociology from the University of Montreal and a BA in Sociology from McGill University.
