个人简介: Takeshi Tashiro is a nonresident senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics. Prior to joining the Institute, Tashiro was involved in the development of Abenomics at Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Tashiro’s published research focuses on financial crises, international finance, and Japan's long stagnation. He is a coauthor of Does Reserve Accumulation Crowd Out Investment? (with Carmen Reinhart and Vincent Reinhart), and Japan's Exorbitant Privilege (with Kenneth Rogoff). His book on Japan's stagnation was published by Nikkei in 2017. He holds a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a bachelor’s degree from Keio University in Tokyo.
